Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners had filed an application seeking compensation, however, respondent no. 3 has not considered the same.

The learned A.G.P. for respondent nos.1 and 2 states that the petitioners will have to apply to the Special Land Acquisition Officer.

The petitioners may make a comprehensive application seeking compensation to the appropriate authority. On receipt of application from the petitioner, the appropriate authority shall take decision on the said application expeditiously on its own merits, preferably within eight months from receipt of the application.

In view of above, Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
