Ashok Kisan Giramkar v. Ravindra Vishwanath Nagargoje
( 1 ) crwp1448.22
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
BENCH AT AURANGABAD 917 CRIMINAL WRIT PETITION NO.1448 OF 2022 ASHOK KISAN GIRAMKAR
VERSUS
RAVINDRA VISHWANATH NAGARGOJE Mr.S.A. Patil, Advocate for the petitioner.
CORAM
:
KISHORE C. SANT, J.
DATED :
30.11.2022 PC :- 01.
Heard learned Advocate for the petitioner. The only grievance of the petitioner is that while allowing the application for setting aside 'evidence closed' order, the Trial Court has imposed cost of Rs.4000/-. Only submission made on behalf of the petitioner is that this cost appears to be unreasonable and exorbitant and the Court should have imposed some lesser amount. It is further submitted that the learned Trial Judge imposed cost even for allowing applications for adjournment or for any other prayers. For this reason, it is necessary to reduce the costs. The petitioner fairly submits that he is not against imposing costs, but only against the exorbitant amount of costs. 02.
Considering the order, this Court finds that costs of Rs.4000/- was not exorbitant or unreasonable. There is no merit in the petition. Same is dismissed.
