Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this writ petition. Learned counsel, however, on instructions from the petitioner no.1, who is present in person before the Court, submits that reasonable compensation may be awarded to the petitioners towards the damage caused to the standing crop. Learned counsel submits that damage caused to the crop is to the tune of Rs.70,000/- to 80,000/- and the petitioners may be compensated to the extent of the said amount.

Learned counsel appearing for respondents no.1 and 2 submits that the Taluka Agriculture Offcer, aaa/-
WP 15352.2019.odt Phulambri has visited the spot, calculated the damage likely to be caused to the crop and the same is to the tune of Rs.15,160/-. Learned counsel has placed the said report prepared by the Taluka Agriculture Offcer, Phulambri dated 23.12.2019 on record. The learned counsel, however, on instructions from the respondent nos.1 and 2 who are present in person before the Court submits that the respondents are ready to pay Rs.10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) more in addition to the calculations made by the Taluka Agriculture Offcer, Phulambri. 3.
Leave granted.

Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The respondent nos.1 and 2 shall pay Rs.25,000/- (Rs. Twenty fve thousand) as a compensation towards the damage likely to be caused to the crop of the petitioners herein within a period of two weeks from the date of this order. ( V.K. JADHAV, J. ) ...
