The petitioner claims Freedom Fighters Pension for having participated in Goa Liberation Movement from the Central Government.

The affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondent No. 1. Clause (f) and (g) of para No. 5 reads thus - (f) That on receipt of copy of said Writ Petition, the case of the petitioner has been re-opened now and this Ministry vide letter dated 21.12.2018 has requested State Government of Maharashtra to furnish certain information relating her martial status, employment status, independent source of income etc. so that her case can be re-examined for grant of Dependant SSS Pension.

2 67-WP-11866-2018 The copy of letter dated 21.12.2018 is annexed herewith and marked as Annexure-R-1/1.

(g) That once the desired information is received from the State Government of Maharashtra, her case for grant of Dependent SSS pension will be re-examined under the provisions of SSS Yojana.

In the light of above, the State Government shall forward the necessary information to the respondent No. 1 within a period of three months from today. On receipt of the said information, the respondent No. 1 shall take the decision expeditiously, and preferably within a period of three months thereafter. 4.
