PER COURT:

1] These are applications by State seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. 2] Heard learned AGP for the applicant and Shri Patil, learned counsel for the Non applicant.

3] Perusal of the applications show that applicants have explained the delay in lodging the appeal challenging enhancement of compensation awarded by Reference Court . Though Shri Patil appearing for Non applicants has vehemently opposed the applications, it is seen that the delay is sufficiently explained and averments in the applications are not countered by filing affidavit in reply. As such, for the reasons stated therein, the applications are allowed. Delay in filing the appeals is condoned and applications are disposed of accordingly.
