DATE : 20th DECEMBER, 2021 PER COURT :- The grievance of the petitioners is that the objection raised by them is not decided. The award is already passed on 31-08-2019. The amount of compensation has been disbursed. The matter ought to have been referred to the Civil Court.

After the award, the petitioners have right to raise objection under Section 3H(4) of the National Highways Act, 1956. If the petitioners have raised such objection, the authority concerned shall take decision on its own merits and in accordance with law. If petitioners have not raised such objection, they may raise such objection in accordance with law, as may be permissible.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
