The proposal tendered by the petitioner, claiming permission for alienation of land under Section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, is stated to be pending with the State Government. It is further pointed out that the Divisional Commissioner, Aurangabad, has forwarded a proposal to the State Government on 10.09.2013. In the facts of this case, this petition can be disposed of by directing the State Government to take decision on the proposal in respect of grant of permission for alienation of land under Section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from today, if the proposal has not yet been decided.

With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
