Heard learned advocate for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents/State. 2.

The petitioner's father Hariba, who was a freedom fighter died in the year 1948. He was duly recognized as such and the petitioner being his son is seeking benefit of freedom fighters' pension scheme.

Although, it is a matter of record that from time to time, the scheme has been modified, but at no point of time an adult son of a freedom fighter is covered under the scheme. This was precisely communicated to the petitioner by the impugned communication dated 30 September 2021 by the Collector. The learned advocate for the petitioner could not point out to us as to

2 wp 12656.21 under which scheme the petitioner's case is covered. Rather he submits that if the notices are issued, the Government may think of modifying the scheme to include the persons like the petitioner.

We dismiss the writ petition.
