Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith. With the consent of the parties, heard finally at the admission stage. 2.

The petitioner, before this Court, raises a limited grievance that the proposal submitted by the Respondent No.7 herein dated 22.08.2019 for correction of his date of birth is pending with the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad. Though, the Education Officer has filed Affidavit in reply stating that the proposal cannot be considered, however, in the interest of justice, we direct the Respondent No.3/ Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad to consider and decide the proposal dated 22.08.2019 submitted by the Respondent No.7 in respect of correction of the date of birth of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from today.

The Writ Petition is allowed in above terms.
