The petitioner's father, who was Head Master, died in harness on 13.12.2018. The petitioner was appointed as an Assistant Teacher (Shikshan Sevak) on 04.10.2021. He has the requisite qualification. The prayer is that the proposal dated 31.05.2022, seeking approval to the compassionate appointment of the petitioner, be decided by the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad. 2.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect, respondent No.3 to consider the entire record, Rules and the policies applicable and decide the proposal dated 31.5.2022, on it's own merits, on or before 15.01.2023.

We make it clear that, we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the proposal.
