Learned advocates appearing for the parties, the petitioner as well as respondents, state that the parties have amicably settled the dispute among themselves and have got the same transcribed in written terms of compromise, which is appended to the writ petition. Learned advocates further state that the settlement is legal and proper and they have accordingly signed the terms of compromise. Learned advocates state that their clients are present before the court and they identify them. Learned advocates for parties state that parties have arrived at and have agreed to the settlement and identify their signatures on the terms of compromise.

Having regard to aforesaid, the impugned order stands modified by the settlement terms and the writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the compromise.

Learned advocate for the petitioner further submits that during pendency of the writ petition, certain amount has been deposited by the petitioner in this Court, upon which interest has also been accrued, which shall be allowed to be withdrawn by the petitioner. Learned advocate for the respondents, on instructions from the respondents, states that the respondents have no objection to allow the petitioner to withdraw said amount. As such, the petitioner is allowed to withdraw the amount deposited in this Court along with interest accrued thereon.
