The proposal is submitted by the petitioner for 40% grant in aid. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is receiving 20% grant in aid.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader appears for respondent Nos. 1 to 3. Mr. Sonawane, the learned counsel accepts notice for the respondent No. 4.

The proposal is pending with the Education Officer (page 29). The Education Officer will have to forward the said proposal with its observations and recommendations to the Deputy

2 wp 12860.21 Director of Education. The same shall be done expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from today. The Deputy Director of Education thereafter is supposed to forward it with its recommendations to the Director and eventually to the State Government. The said process shall be completed and decision upon the proposal of the petitioner shall be taken on it's own merits for 40% grant in aid within four (04) months thereafter.
