Mr. Wani, learned counsel submits that petitioner has appeared for 4th Semester B.E. course. However, the result has been withheld only on the ground that validation proceedings are still pending.

We have also heard Mr. Bolkar, the learned counsel for respondent No. 3 and the learned A.G.P.

It is stated that the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner is pending since 2013 and the same is not yet decided.

The respondent - committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within 6 months. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceeding. 5.

Respondent No. 3 shall not withhold the result of the petitioner's examination only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending.

In case, the petitioner is otherwise eligible then the petitioner be allowed to prosecute further studies. However, the degree certificate shall not be issued till validity is submitted. 7.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
