The petitioners claimed to have belonged to 'Naikda' Scheduled Tribe. The respondent/Scrutiny Committee refused to grant them validity certificates. They are therefore before us. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has mainly relied on the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition Nos.12673 of 2022, 11727 of 2023, 10338 of 2024, 1323 of 2025 directing to grant validity certificates to the blood relations of the petitioners. Although the learned AGP disputes the relationship, the record indicates that the petitioners had placed before the Scrutiny Committee the genealogy and the Committee in the orders impugned herein did not dispute the relationship. It only found the petitioners to have suppressed certain facts from it.

Since the case of validity holders has been reopened, the petitioners may face the similar fate. Since this Court in the writ petitions referred to herein-above granted the blood relations of the petitioners validity certificates and the petitioners being similarly placed, the petition needs to be allowed.

In result, writ petition is allowed in terms of the following order :

ORDER

(i) Impugned order dated 11.09.2025 passed by respondent no.2/Scrutiny Committee is hereby set aside.

(ii) The respondent no.2/Scrutiny Committee is directed to issue the petitioners validity certificates of 'Naikda' Scheduled Tribe. (iii) The validity certificates to be issued shall be co-terminus with the validity certificates of the petitioners blood relations, on whom the petitioners did rest their claim before this Court. (iv) The petitioners shall not claim any equity.

(v) Writ Petition stands disposed of.
