The present application is filed seeking benefit of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The same was not a matter of consideration when the Writ Petition was decided nor the said Act was in force at that time. In case the petitioners have some rights under the new Act, the petitioners are at liberty to take up such proceedings as may be permissible in law.
