Heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner invited our attention to the order dated 10th September, 2012, passed by the Division Bench of this Court. It is submitted that the directions of this Court were two fold. First direction was in respect of recovery initiated against the petitioner and the further direction was to extend the benefit of Career Advancement Scheme from 1st January, 1996 with all monetary benefits to the petitioner expeditiously. 3.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that first direction insofar as the recovery is concerned, is complied with by the respondentsauthorities and as the second direction was not complied with, the petitioner is before this Court. He invited our attention to the order dated 24th July, 2018, passed by this Court.

Mr Dande, learned A.G.P., on instructions, submits before us that being aggrieved by the order of this Court, the said authority approached the Hon'ble the Apex Court by filing a Special Leave Petition and the same is dismissed by the Hon'ble the Apex Court, by an order dated 3rd August, 2018.

Mr Dande, learned A.G.P. further submits that considering all these facts, the State Government decided to release the amount of Rs.1,92,034/- in favour of the petitioner. He placed on record a copy of the communication dated 20th August, 2018, which is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification.

In view of the communication, grievance of the petitioner is redressed. If the petitioner is having any grievance insofar as quantifying of amount is concerned, he is at liberty to take appropriate steps before the competent authority or before the judicial forum, if so advised to him. 7.

As the grievance of the petitioner is redressed, nothing survives in the petition. Accordingly, contempt petition is disposed of. (MANISH PITALE, J.) (PRASANNA B. VARALE, J.) sjk
