This is an application for making available the service book for the purpose of finalizing the pension papers of respondent No.7-Shams Zehra Naqvi S/o. Maroof Hussain Naqvi. 2.

The learned counsel for the applicants submits that the request for voluntary retirement of respondent No.7, made by letter dated 29.04.2024, has been accepted by the management by letter dated 31.07.2024. However, the pension papers of respondent No.7 could not be finalized, since the service book is

(( 2 )) 6-CA-4238-25 deposited with this Court. For the purpose of completing the formalities regarding pension, it is requested that the service book be returned to respondent No.1-management.

This civil application is moved for release of service book of respondent No.1 for the purpose of completing the pension papers. It is submitted that similar application was filed by another employee in this matter and the service book of that employee was ordered to be made available. Respondent No.1 has no objection for civil application. Civil application is, therefore, allowed in terms of prayer clause 'A'. After the purpose is over, respondent No.1 shall redeposit the service book with this court.
