Petitioner claims to be belonging to NT category and has been admitted to engineering course operated by respondent no. 4 College. As a result of failure of petitioner to submit validation certificate, respondent no. 3 University has not declared the result for first and second semester of the first year computer engineering course held in the month of May 2016, as a result of which the petitioner is prohibited from tendering examination form for appearing for further examinations which is likely to be held in the month of November 2016.

In the facts of this case, this petition can be disposed of by directing respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the caste certificate verification proposal pertaining to petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from today and it is

Respondent no. 3 University shall declare result of petitioner for the first and second semester of the first year computer engineering course forthwith and shall permit petitioner to tender examination form for the further examinations. Petitioner shall be permitted to prosecute further studies subject to the decision of the tribe certificate verification proposal pending with respondent no. 2 Committee. Petitioner undertakes to co-operate the Scrutiny Committee in expeditious disposal of the verification claim.
