Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the advertisement dated 07.08.2012 the petitioner applied for the post of Assistant (Junior). The petitioner possessed the necessary qualification and the experience for the said post as detailed in the advertisement. However, the candidature of the petitioner is rejected on the ground that petitioner has passed the ITI examination on 20.09.2012 and the last date for giving application was 05.09.2012. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the provisional result was declared in the Month of July 2012 on the official website of the institute. As such the petitioner had already passed the ITI examination. The case of the petitioner ought to have been considered. The petitioner

( 2 ) was possessing necessary qualification having passed the said examination. Learned Advocate further submits that still the posts of Assistant (Junior) are vacant. As the petitioner has been wrongly denied the opportunity he can be considered for the vacant post.

Mr.Goyanka, Advocate submits that the provisional national trade certificate issued to the petitioner itself states that the date of result as 20.09.2012. The last date for filling application is 05.09.2012 and on the day of application the petitioner did not possessed the qualification.

The selection process is of the year 2013. The candidature of the petitioner was rejected on 04.08.2014. The petitioner has filed this petition in October, 2015 after lapse of more than one year. The entire selection process is completed and the eligible candidates are already appointed. Perusal of the provisional national trade certificate it is manifest that the said certificate mentioned the date of result as 20.09.2012. The said date is after last date for filling in application. The candidature of the petitioner has been rejected on the said count.

The selection process has come to an end. All

( 3 ) the posts pursuant to the said selection process are filled in. The wait list is valid only for the one year. The petition is filed later than said period. New vacancies that would arise cannot be considered. In the light of above no relief can be granted to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
