The Petitioner has joined employment as a 'Clerk/Typist' on 04/01/2023. Through her employer, her proposal for seeking validity of her claim of belonging to 'Mahadev Koli' Scheduled Tribe category was forwarded to the Respondent No.2/Committee, which is pending. She is now under a threat of termination, and has therefore, rushed to this Court.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off, with a direction to Respondent No.2/Scheduled Tribe, Caste

11579.23wp (2) Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Aurangabad, to decide the claim of the Petitioner, on or before 31/05/2024. The Petitioner shall render wholehearted co-operation and shall refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable or trivial grounds, lest, the Committee would be justifying in proceeding to the next stage in the proceedings.

We direct the Municipal Corporation, not to terminate service of the Petitioner on the ground that she does not have a validity certificate, until 31/05/2024. If an adverse order is passed by the Committee, invalidating her claim, the said order shall not be implemented until 15/06/2024.
