Petitioners are challenging the orders of the Returning Officer accepting the nomination papers of the respondents. Last date for withdrawal of nomination was 8th November, 2021. All stages of the election are over except polling. The polling is to take place on 19th November, 2021. It would be too late in the day to set the clock back. Even otherwise, the petitioners have an alternate remedy after the polling is over.
3.
In the light of above, the petitioners may take up appropriate proceedings, as may be permissible under law. In that event, all the contentions are kept open.
4.
Writ Petitions are, accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
