The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the application has been filed for rental compensation to the acquiring body and copy of the same is also submitted to the Special Land Acquisition Officer. 2.

The petitioners have to file application with the Special Land Acquisition Officer for determination of rental compensation. 3.

The petitioners may file application for grant of rental compensation with the Special Land Acquisition Officer. The Special Land Acquisition Officer on receipt of application shall decide the said application after hearing all concerned parties on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months from the date of receipt of application. 4.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
