CORAM
: ARUN R. PEDNEKER, J.
Dated : December 04, 2025 PER COURT :- 1.
By the present writ petition, the petitioner challenges the impugned order dated 4.9.2025 passed by the Collector, Ahilyanagar in Gram Panchayat Dispute No. 33/2025 by which the Collector has allowed the dispute application filed by the respondent No. 1/Sarpanch on the ground that the notice is not properly served upon respondent No. 1/Sarpanch and meeting is kept beyond 7 days.
2.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Full bench of this Court has covered this issue and has held that if the Tahsildar has failed to convene the meeting within seven days, no confidence motion cannot be set aside only on that ground. The said proposition is not disputed by the learned counsel for the respondent No. 1. 3.
However, as regards the second submission that the notice was not served upon the Sarpanch is concerned, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not able to demonstrate that there was service of notice on respondent/Sarpanch in terms of notice rules. 4.
Considering the above submission, I hold that no case is made out for interference. The writ petition is dismissed. ( ARUN R. PEDNEKER, J. ) ssc/
