The petitioner seeks direction against the respondent No.3 to complete the pending enquiry in accordance with the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Record of Rights and Registers (Preparation and Maintenance )Rules, 1971 in respect of land Gat No.28/A of village Jalke (Kh) Tq. Newasa, Dist. Ahmednagar.

Learned AGP states that respondent No.3Tahsildar, Newasa would conduct enquiry as per provisions of the Rules.

In the light of that, respondent No.3 may conduct the said enquiry as per Rule 31 of the Rules, 1971, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from today.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
