The learned AGP appearing on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 6, 8 and 9 submits that an offence has been registered u/s 447 of the IPC against the person, who had indulged in encroachment. The encroachment at issue, which is a ginning factory, has been placed under a seal by the Office of the District Collector. Since status-quo is directed to be maintained by the learned Division Bench of this Court in WP No.3943/2021, the Revenue Authorities could not proceed further for removal of encroachment.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that since he is the complainant and a whistle blower, he would withdraw this petition as he intends to approach the learned Bench for seeking intervention in the khs/Aug. 2021/4619

- 2 - above stated writ petition so as to assist the Court. 3.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. The amount of Rs.1,00,000/- which was deposited by the petitioner in this Court under our order dated 02/07/2021, which we had passed for testing the bonafides of the petitioner, shall be returned to the petitioner by the Registry.
