The petitioner is seeking correction of the school record. He has submitted the application to the Head Master. 2.

Though there is nothing on record to demonstrate about the Head Master having submitted any proposal to the respondent No. 2/Education Officer, the learned advocate for the respondent No. 3/Head Master submits that the Education Officer (Secondary) has called him on 03 October 2023 with a proposal.

We dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent No. 3/ Head Master to put up proposal as has been solicited by the respondent No. 2/Education Officer and the latter

2 wp 11603.23 shall pass appropriate order on that proposal on the same day keeping in mind the observations of the Full Bench of this Court in the matter of Janabai D/o Himmatrao Thakur Vs. The State of Maharashtra and another reported in 2019(6) Mh.L.J. 769. In case the order is passed in favour of the petitioner, the school shall oblige by correction of school record and giving the copy on the same day.

The learned A. G. P. shall communicate this order to the Education Officer (Secondary).
