PER COURT:

1] Mr. Bolkar, learned counsel submits that the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Scrutiny Committee. The petitioner has been given admission to First Year BUMS (Bachelor of Unnani Medical Science) Course. However, examination form is not being accepted only on the ground that the validity certificate has not been obtained. 2] We have heard learned AGP and Mr. Sant, learned counsel for respondent No.3.

3] The respondent No.2 Committee shall decide the Validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within 9 months. The petitioner shall cooperate for expeditious disposal of the said proceeding. In case the petitioner is admitted to First year BUMS course, then the respondent No.3 shall not refuse to accept the Examination Form of the petitioner and declare result only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending. Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 can further take action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings.
