Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that, he is restricting the petition to the prayer clause (B), which reads as under :

(B) By issuing appropriate writ, orders or directions in the like nature the respondent authorities may kindly be directed to forward the proposal of petitioner for reimbursement of medical bills to the committee constituted under Government Resolution dated 19/03/2005.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that, the reasons given by the authority that the petitioner has not

sought written permission from the District Civil Surgeon was not possible due to Covid-19 period.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents No.1 and 2 states that, since the petitioner has restricted the petition to prayer clause (B), appropriate orders be passed.

We do not see any impediment in directing the respondents to forward the proposal of the petitioner for reimbursement of the medical bills to the concerned Committee. Similar relief has been granted by this Court in Writ Petition No.7415/2024, by order dated 22/7/2024. 5.

In view of the above, we allow the petition in terms of prayer clause (B).

The concerned Committee shall consider the proposal on its own merits as per rules and take decision as expeditiously as possible.
