By this petition, the petitioner challenges the impugned order dated 11/09/2025 passed by respondent No. 2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee, whereby the caste claim of the petitioner belonging to 'Mannervarlu', Scheduled Tribe has been invalidated. 3.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the orders passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 9193/2019 dated 21/08/2019, in the case of Shivam Sahebrao Mupade and others, in Writ Petition No. 9042/2020 and other connected writ petitions dated 06/01/2021, so also in the case of Rohini Digambar Mupade and others who are blood relatives of the petitioner to whom this Court have granted conditional caste validity certificates. The learned AGP do not dispute the relationship of the petitioner with those validity holders.

Considering the above, and in view of the fact that the petitioner's blood relatives have already been granted caste validity by this Court, we see no reason to take a different view in the present case. Accordingly, the writ petition deserves to be allowed.

ORDER

A) The impugned order dated 11/09/2025 passed by respondent No. 2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee, invalidating the petitioner's Tribe claim, is hereby quashed and set aside. B) Respondent No. 2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee is directed to issue a caste validity certificate to the petitioner, confirming that he belongs to 'Mannervarlu', Scheduled Tribe, within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order. C) The validity certificate of the petitioner shall be subject to the outcome of verification to be undertaken by the Caste Scrutiny Committee of validity holders on whom the petitioner is relying.
