Without entering into merits of the claim of the petitioner, time being, ends of justice would meet if the District Collector, Osmanabad is directed to take decision on the representation / application filed by the petitioner on 12th June, 2015 ( at Exh.D, page 42 to the compilation of petition), as expeditiously as possible; however, within six weeks from today.

It is needless to observe that, if the District Collector wishes to hear the petitioner and the

10731.15WP Insurance Company, he will be at liberty to do so. While considering the claim of the petitioner as reflected in the application, the Collector shall keep in view the objectives of the Scheme framed by the State Government so as to address immediate need of the family of the victim who died in the accident or due to any other reason mentioned in the relevant Government Resolution. After such decision is taken, the District Collector shall forthwith communicate the same to the petitioner and also the Insurance company - respondent No.5. However, the entire exercise shall be completed, as expeditiously as possible; however, within six weeks from today. Writ Petition stands disposed of.
