By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to respondent No. 2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee - to decide his caste claim of belonging to the 'Mannervarlu', Scheduled Tribe, expeditiously. The petitioner has also sought a direction that, until the decision on his caste claim is rendered, his employer, respondents No. 3 and 4, shall not take any coercive action against him.

Considering the above, we deem it appropriate to direct respondent No. 2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee - to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from today. Page 1 of

936 WP 11734-2025 Pending the decision of the caste claim, respondents No. 3 and 4 shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner. 4.

It is made clear that the directions granted by this Court shall operate only until the caste claim of the petitioner is decided by respondent No. 2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee.
