By this Writ Petition, the Petitioner is seeking direction to the Respondent No.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the Caste Claim of the petitioner which is pending since 27.01.2025. 3.

Considering the fact that, the petitioner is in service and is apprehending coercive action, we direct the Respondent No.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner, within a period of one year from today.

Pending the final decision of the Caste Claim of the petitioner, the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4/Employers, shall not take any coercive action

2 54.WP-12219-2025.doc against the petitioner solely on the ground that, the Caste Claim of the petitioner is pending.

We make it clear that, the protection granted by us will operate only till, the Caste Claim of the petitioner is decided. 5.
