The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the appeal before the Scrutiny committee against rejection of their application for issuance of tribe certificate is pending since 2010. The hearing has taken place in the year 2016, but no orders are passed.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader appears for all respondents.

In case, the appeal is filed by petitioners and same is pending with the respondent No. 1/committee, then the respondent No. 1 shall decide the same on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of two (02) months from the date of appearance of the petitioners. The petitioners shall appear before the Committee on 03rd October, 2019. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
