The petitioners' proposal for grant of approval has been turned down by the respondent/Education Officer by the impugned order dated 19.09.2024 only on the ground that appointment was not made through pavitral portal envisaged by the Government Resolution dated 07 February 2019 and 10 June 2022.

We have heard both the sides.

The issue is no longer res-integra in the light of our order dated 10.06.2024 in Writ Petition No. 13150 of 2022 in the matter of Shaikh Jaweria Khadarsab Vs. The State of

2 wp 10944.24 Maharashtra and others.

The writ petition is allowed partly. The impugned order is quashed and set aside. The matter is remitted back to the Education Officer (Secondary) for deciding the proposal afresh on its own merits, but not by resorting to the grounds mentioned in the impugned order.
