Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned AGP.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the licence of the petitioner is suspended in the year 2001. Now the proclamation is issued for allotment of fair price shop in the area where the petitioner runs the fair price shop. The respondent No. 2 and 3 be directed to decide the applications and renew the license in favour of the petitioner.

Learned APP submits that the license of the petitioner is cancelled in the year 2001. The petitioner has not taken

8WP12653 steps pursuant thereto.

We have considered the submission. In the order dated 06.10.2001, passed by the District Supply Ofcer, Jalgaon, canceling the fair price shop licence of the petitioner is annexed by the petitioner along with the petition at Exhibit 'B'. The license of the petitioner stands cancelled twenty years back. It was for the petitioner to take steps as against the said cancellation of the licence. 5.

As the licence of the petitioner is cancelled twenty years back, this Court cannot come to the aid of the petitioner. It was for the petitioner to take appropriate steps at the relevant time.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
