Mr.Bhumkar, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been given benefit of time bound promotional pay-scale with effect from 1998 and 1996, however, the said benefit has been only notionally given and the actual benefit is given only from the date the petitioners were absorbed as Civil Engineer Assistants. The petitioners have given representation to the authority concerned, however, no cognizance has been taken of the same.

Learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.2 and 3

submits that the authority would take decision upon the representation (Exh.H) filed by the petitioners on its own merits. 4.

As the Respondents have shown their willingness to take decision on the representation given by the petitioners (Exh.H.), we have not considered the petition on merits.

The Respondents shall take the decision on the representation given by the petitioners (Exh.H.) expeditiously and preferably within six (6) months.

The contentions of the respective parties are kept open. 7.
