It would be open for the petitioner to approach the Sub-Divisional Officer, Nilanga for issuance of corrected certificate. Learned AGP for the State informs that the area comprising of village Walandi which is the place of residence of petitioner and was previously within the jurisdiction of SubDivisional Officer, Udgir, has now been transferred under the jurisdiction of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Nilanga. In this view of the matter, it would be desirable for the petitioner to approach the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer for securing corrected certificate. If the petitioner approaches the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer with a suitable request, the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer shall issue the certificate in accordance with provisions of law, expeditiously. With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
