This is an application seeking condonation of delay which has been caused in filing criminal application seeking leave to prefer appeal. As is revealing from the contents of the application, delay of 14 days has occurred in filing the criminal application seeking leave to prefer appeal.

Learned Counsel appearing for the respondent has opposed for granting such application, however, after having gone through the contents of the application, I am inclined to allow the applications for the reasons stated in the application; more so, for the reason that the delay occasioned is of smaller period.
