This is an application seeking permission to issue notices to respondents no.3 to 5 through daily newspaper. It was the case of the petitioner that respondents no.3 to 5 are appointed in the services of respondent Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (for short "Corporation"). Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Corporation submits that though respondents no.3 to 5 were selected, they were selected from the categories, namely, ex-serviceman category and part time employees category and though they are selected, they are not appointed by the Corporation. Learned Counsel for the Corporation submitted that

ca12780.18 (2) petitioners no.1, 3 and 4 could not reach to the satisfaction of the qualifying criteria and it was only petitioner no.2 who reached to that criteria but he is kept on a waiting list. Learned Counsel prays for some time to file affidavit along with requisite documents bringing these facts to the notice of the Court.

In view of the above referred facts, the application is disposed of and the Counsel for the Corporation is permitted to file short affidavit within two weeks from today.
