Present petition filed for the relief to direct respondents No. 1 and 2 to decide the applications/representations filed by the petitioner dated 22.05.2025 and 24.06.2025. The representations referred by the petitioners are in respect of land bearing Gat No. 219 which has been acquired by the respondent authorities under the Land Acquisition Act and in spite of being acquired no compensation till date has been paid. 2.

Learned AGP appearing for the respondent-State, upon taking instruction from respondent No. 2 makes a statement that the representations will be decided by respondent No. 2 within a period of three months from today. The statement is accepted as undertaking. 975-WP-13851-2025.odt

Accordingly we direct respondent No. 2 to decide the representation of the petitioner within a said period and if the petitioner is found eligible for the compensation, in that case, a compensation should be paid to the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of further three months from the date of the decision of the representation.
