The applicant seeks permission to withdraw the amount deposited by the acquiring body.

Learned advocate appearing for the applicant invites attention of this Court to the order dated 4.4.2025 passed in sister appeals, whereby applicants are permitted to withdraw 75% of the amount as deposited by the acquiring body on furnishing usual undertaking to the satisfaction of Registrar Judicial of this Court. It is further pointed out that the dispute in appeal is limited as to grant of interest from the date of notification under section 4 of the Act, instead of from the date of award.

Considering the submissions advanced and order passed in sister appeal, applicants are permitted to withdraw 75% of the amount as deposited by the acquiring body subject to furnishing of usual undertaking to the satisfaction of Registrar Judicial of this Court that they shall re-deposit the amount in case, adverse order is passed in appeal. Civil applications stand disposed of.
