The petitioner seeks promotion. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner is working in Zilla Parishad school. In that event, the petitioner may have a remedy of appeal under Rule 14 (1) (b) of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads (Discipline and Appeal) Rules.

In light of that, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy. All contentions are kept open. No costs.
