The Petitioner has put-forth a prayer that this Court should direct initiation of rowing inquiries against the Sarpanch, Upa Sarpanch, Gram Sevak, Block Development Officer, Gram Sabha Sadasya etc., only for the reason that the Petitioner alleges that they are indulging in corruption and misappropriation. The pleadings in this petition run into only four pages. There is hardly any material before us to consider issuance of a Writ of Mandamus.

Needless to state, we are expected to be conscious of the fact that our orders to conduct rowing inquiries would ruin somebody' s career and that too on the basis of bald/vague allegations. Such petitions cannot be

( 2 ) 40 wp 12067.23 entertained for the sheer reason that there is no data/material available to support the contentions. The Petitioner also does not desire that this petition should be converted into a PIL.
