Mr. Mane, the learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, since the year 2005, the petitioner had applied for the appointment as Shikshan Sevak from the Project Affected Persons category. The claim of the petitioner is not considered. There is one post vacant of P. A. P. category. Three per cent of posts are required to be filled in from the persons belonging to P. A. P. category.

The petitioner as on today is age barred. The petitioner's name is not appearing in the select list of the persons to be appointed from P. A. P. category. The Full Bench of this Court in a case of Rajendra Pandurang Pagare and another Vs. State of Maharashtra and others reported in 2009 (4) Bom.C.R. 928 has held that, even for appointment from P. A. P. category the candidate

2 wp 1298.20 has to undergo selection process. In absence of the participation of the petitioner in the selection process, the grievance of the petitioner cannot be considered.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
