Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that an affidavit in reply has been filed on 02 March 2024. She tenders across the bar a copy thereof.

By order dated 02 December 2022 in Writ Petition No. 4133 of 2020, we had directed the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and to take a decision. His representation was apparently for undertaking land acquisition process in respect of land standing in the name of his father affected by a public project. We had directed the respondents to take decision on his representation within eight weeks. For

2 cp 789.23 alleged disobedience of which contempt proceeding has been filed. 3.

As mentioned in the affidavit in reply, which is annexed with copy of communication dated 11.01.2024 addressed to the petitioner by the respondents his representation has been turned down by the respondents for the reasons recorded therein. The petitioner may have to challenge it independently. The directions to decide the representation having been complied with, the contempt petition is disposed of.
