Present petition has been filed for directions to respondent No.4 to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner on 21.06.2022 within a stipulated period.

Learned AGP waives notice for all the respondents and submits that respondent No.4 has sought certain directions from the State on the appeal and after the receipt of instructions, the appeal would be decided. 3.

We are unable to understand what kind of procedure has been adopted. When an appeal is filed, the Appellate Authority cannot seek direction, but will have to decide the appeal. When appeal is pending [1]
