Heard the learned counsel for rival parties.

We have perused page No.25 showing the details about the proposed expenditure for this year's function for Dasara. We find Item Nos.5 and 6 relate to printing and posting etc. of the invitation cards and the amount against these two items is Rs.5, 00,000/- plus Rs.9,96,000/- Mr. Choukidar, learned counsel for the Trust submits that the invitees are residing in the interior part of the villages and towns etc. and therefore, there is a system to send the invitation cards by post as they are the patron members of the Trust. Not only that according to

908 ca.13268.15.odt him, some of the patron members are residing abroad and they are also required to be invited by sending invitation cards. We find that the expenditure at item Nos.5 and 6 towards printing and posting of invitation cards is not required in these days of technological advancement namely SMS, MMS, Internet, publication, television etc. There is no point in spending huge amount as aforesaid towards said item Nos.5 and 6. Certainly the said amount can be saved and Mr. Choukidar, learned counsel for Trust also fairly states that the Trust would adopt other ways of inviting the devotees rather than spending huge amount over these two items. We make it clear that in future also if such an application is made, expenditure thereon shall not be claimed on these two items.

We have perused the details of other expenditure and we think the same should be allowed in view of the function at the Sansthan. We, therefore, allow the prayer for making expenditure as per Item Nos.1 to 10 except Item Nos.5 and 6. Consequently, the total amount to be spent shall be reduced by Rs.14,96,000/-.
