The applicants are seeking bail as they were arrested in connection with FIR No. 0187/2024, dated 0606/2024, registered with Virgaon Police Station, District Aurangabad, for the offences punishable under sections 302, 307, 143, 147, 148, 149 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

In BA/1820/2024, this Court, by order dated 21/08/2024, in Bail Application No. 1321/2024, granted bail to the co-accused, who is identical to Gaurav Ajit Sonawane. The learned APP has fairly admitted this fact. In view of the same the application of the applicant/accused Gaurav Ajit Sonawane is allowed.

In BA/1826/2024, it is the allegation of the prosecution that the accused, Balu Dagadu Sonawane, assaulted Anil and Bhanudas with an iron rod. The medical certificates indicate that the injuries sustained by Bhanudas and Anil are simple in nature. The applicant/accused, Balu Dagadu Sonawane, is 60 years old and has been behind bars for the last five months. Considering the age of the accused, the fact that he has been in custody for over five months, the likelihood that the trial will take a long time to conclude, and that the co-accused, Vilas Balu Sonawane, has already been granted bail, the application for bail of the applicant/accused, Balu Dagadu Sonawane, is also allowed. 2 of

In view of the above, the applications are allowed in the following terms : - a] The applicants shall be released on bail in connection with FIR No. 0187/2024, dated 0606/2024, registered with Virgaon Police Station, District Aurangabad, for the offences punishable under sections 302, 307, 143, 147, 148, 149 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, on furnishing PR bond of Rs.20,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
b] The applicants, upon being released on bail, shall not contact the informant, in any manner whatsoever, during the pendency of the trial.
c] The applicants shall co-operate with the trial Court and they shall attend each and every date, unless exempted by the trial Court, for reasons to be recorded in writing. d] The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence of the prosecution and he shall not influence the informant, witnesses and other persons concerned with the case.
e] The applicants, upon being released on bail, shall place on record of the trial Court the details of his Contact Number and residential address with updates in case of any change. 7.
Needless to say, in case of violation of any of the aforesaid 3 of
conditions, the bail granted to the applicants shall be liable to be cancelled. It is also clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present bail application. The concerned Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

The applications stand disposed of.
