The learned counsel submits that the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as a Peon is pending with the Education Officer. It was in fact submitted in the year 2013, but it is inwarded on 11th February, 2021.

The learned AGP accepts notice for respondent No.1. In case the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as a Peon (page 16) is pending with respondent No.1, then respondent No.1 shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, preferably within four months. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
