The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the scrutiny committee since January 2021. The petitioner seeks directions for deciding it within the stipulated period on the ground that the petitioner has appeared for MHT-CET exam and is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course. 2.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2. 3.

The petitioner has approached the Court very late. The admission process has commenced. It would be too late now in the day

2 937-wp 13114-2021.odt to direct the committee to decide the validation proceeding within a period of seven or eight days. More particularly, when the vigilance is not yet conducted. We cannot issue positive directions to the committee.

Considering the fact that, the petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course, the committee may if, it is possible for it endeavour to decide the validation proceeding expeditiously.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
